This fall, Aid the Silent is partnering with A+ Audiology, The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and leading hearing healthcare professionals to provide a two-part Pediatric Hearing Aid Clinic for 20 children in the Rio Grande Valley who face significant barriers to hearing care. The clinic will provide hearing evaluations, medical assessments, custom ear molds, hearing aid fittings, programming, and follow-up support to help children access critical communication resources during key developmental years. Many families in the region experience long wait times, travel challenges, insurance delays, and limited access to pediatric specialists, leaving children without the care they need. With a current waitlist of children ready to receive services, the total cost to provide this clinic is $35,000. Through sponsorship support, donors can help ensure children gain access to hearing technology, education, confidence, and opportunities to thrive.
