APPLYfor the The Philip and Barbara Green – Aid The Silent Scholarship

The Philip and Barbara Green – Aid The Silent Scholarship offers up to $2,500 to support Texas-based students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Half of the award will be paid in the fall semester and the other half in the spring semester. Students may reapply each year; however, receiving the scholarship one year does not guarantee they will be granted it again in subsequent years. Each application will be thoroughly reviewed by Aid The Silent staff, who will prioritize demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds.

All applicants must submit the required materials by the specified deadline. Applications received after the deadline or missing required documents will not be considered. Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s school, and applicants should clearly detail their financial needs, specifying expenses the scholarship will cover, such as tuition, books, technology, food, or housing. Aid The Silent will use this information to assess the need and determine the awarded amount.

By applying, applicants agree that Aid The Silent staff will review and verify all submitted information to ensure the scholarship meaningfully supports students’ academic and personal goals.
