Nicolet Reedy
Nicolet Reedy graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She continued her education at Our Lady of the Lake University, where she earned her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders and obtained her Certificate of Clinical Competency through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
As a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Nicolet spent more than 10 years working with adults in skilled nursing settings, specializing in swallowing, speech, and cognitive rehabilitation. As she focused on growing her family, she transitioned to part-time teletherapy services, providing speech and language therapy to children. In 2020, Nicolet and her husband took a leap of faith and became business partners and owners of Cinnaholic, a gourmet cinnamon roll bakery in San Antonio. As a mother of four and small business owner, Nicolet gained valuable experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, digital marketing, and community collaboration.
Nicolet joined forces with Aid the Silent as Executive Assistant and Operations Coordinator. In her role, she provides administrative, logistical, and operational support to the Executive Director while also supporting the broader team. As an organizational anchor, she helps manage schedules, communications, projects, and logistics as Aid the Silent continues to grow and serve more families.
