We have such exciting news to share — and it’s all because of your faithful support and generosity. Aid the Silent has officially paid off our $1.6 million building at 8126 Broadway and is now completely debt-free! This incredible milestone means our full focus is now on the next phase: renovating and transforming the space into the Deaf Children and Teen Development Center.
This 6,800 sq. ft. center will become a fully accessible campus designed specifically for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families. It will feature the Deaf Children & Family Hub, Accessibility Hall, 3D Ear Mold Lab, Speech Therapy Rooms, Audiology Clinic, ENT/Otology Room, and Family Sign Language Classrooms a true one-stop hub for care, communication, and connection.
We’re thrilled to share that our architectural design is 100% complete, and our construction contract is ready to sign as soon as we reach our final goal. The total construction budget is $1,564,912, with $661,089 already secured and through the generosity of recent supporters, we’ve raised an additional $225,000, bringing us so close to the finish line.

In October 2025, the Mabee Foundation awarded Aid the Silent a $450,000 challenge grant toward the completion of this project. We now need to raise just $228,823 to meet the match and fully fund construction. Once this goal is met, we will unlock the full Mabee grant and begin building a state-of-the-art, accessible campus that will serve hundreds of deaf children, teens, and their families every year.
This is our final stretch – and your support can help make history. Every gift, large or small, moves us closer to breaking ground and opening the doors of the Deaf Children and Teen Development Center.
