Aid the Silent’s philosophy is to do as much as we can, for as many as we can. We believe helping others starts with those in our own backyard—right here in San Antonio. Texas has the second largest group of deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals in the country, coming in at 15 million people. This number continues to rise each year, and we strive to make a positive impact on the lives of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community every day. We work with individual families, independent school districts, churches and camps to build relationships within these areas to produce successful, confident and independent deaf and hard-of-hearing children and teens.
